River cruise, dinner and concert

The river cruise on the Spree river will take you to discover the following landmarks: Palace Bridge (Schlossbrucke)  Charlottenburg Bank (Charlottenburger Ufer) Hansa District (Hansaviertel)  Ministry of the Interior  Government District (Spreebogen)  Bellevue Palace (the German President's official residence).

Prior to the concert, indulge in our three-course menu served at the Orangery. Dinner is followed by an unforgettable evening of classical music presented at the Great Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace. The program includes the most beautiful works created by Johann Sebastian Bach, Frederick the Great, Luigi Boccherini, Georg Friedrich Handel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Individual visitors are requested to pick up their concert tickets and the voucher for the river cruise at our office located at the Small Orangery at Charlottenburg Palace. If you choose to pick up your tickets the very day of the river cruise, please make sure to do so before 1:00 p.m. because the boat departs at Palace Bridge (Schlossbrucke) at 2:15 p.m. Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, closed Sundays.

Start of river cruise

You will be taking tour #1 operated by river cruise company Winkler. The boat will depart at Palace Bridge (Schlossbrucke) at Charlottenburg Riverbank (Charlottenburger Ufer) at 2:15 p.m. sharp and will return to its point of departure at 5:15 p.m.

Dinner

Right before the concert, you will enjoy an exclusive dinner consisting of the Orangery Menu at the Orangery (please see the menu under the "Media" tab). Dinner is followed by a concert including masterpieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, King Frederick the Great, Luigi Boccherini, Georg Friedrich Handel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, performed by the Berlin Residence Orchestra.

An Experience of Baroque

The Orchestra

The Berlin Palace Orchestra has been formed exclusively for the concert series at Charlottenburg Palace. All members of the ensemble are highly professional and respected musicians from Berlin showing a deep understanding of late Baroque music and music of the classical period as well as a true passion for its interpretation. Endowed with a truly special feeling for music as well a high level of musical homogeneity, the orchestra presents the most outstanding works of this remarkable era to todays audience.

Categories VIP, A, B and C refer to the front, middle and rear part of the auditorium respectively.

On selected concert dates, we will reserve six rows for VIP guests. Within a chosen category, all seating is unreserved. No advance booking of specific rows or seats.

8:00 p.m. Admission into the concert hall
