The GDR Museum offers a unique glimpse into the everyday life of the East German citizen.  You can see how they lived in an exact reproduction of a typical East German apartment.  Take a trip back in time as you zap back and forth between East and West German TV channels. You can also get behind the wheel of the Trabant, the East German car, made in GDR and designed for the masses.

The headset guides are in 13 languages and ensure that you can sit back and relax without missing any of the important sights.

The duration of the City Circle Tour a minimum of 2,5 hours. For 2 whole days you can get-on and off the buses at anytime at one of the 20 bus stops listed under the "itinerary" tab.

The GDR Museum can be visited any time during the opening hours.

Departure times:

From April till October every 10 minutes from 10:00 am till 6:00 pm (last departure for a full circle: 4:00 pm)

From November till March every 15 minutes from 10:00 am till 5:00 pm (last departure for a full circle: 3:00 pm)

The GDR Museum is open from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm.
